Day 1
- A guided visit inside Burgos Cathedral, an arquitectural masterpiece
We begin our time together after a short transfer from the airport at the amazing town of Burgos, with its stunning gothic Cathedral, the resting place of El Cid and located along the world-famous pilgrim route: "Camino de Santiago".
You will visit Burgos’ 13th-century gothic Cathedral, generally acknowledged to be one of the greatest architectural masterpieces of Spain.
Your gastronomic journey begins with an opportunity to sample the signature dish of the Ribera del Duero region, the delicious "Lechazo": roast lamb slow-cooked using a centuries old technique. Of course, your meal would not be complete with an accompanying red wine from the region.
After feasting on "Lechazo", sampling delicious wines and a look back at our history, it’s time to retire to your hotel to continue your journey through time. A magnificent 14th-century medieval castle awaits you. Sensitively renovated, its stone staircases, opulent ceilings, and luxurious rooms will make you feel like royalty.
Day 2

Your morning starts with a sumptuous breakfast. Then, you will be driven to the next stop: León, a lively town full of history, an important milestone along the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route.
You will go on a sightseeing tour of this charming town full of historical buildings where the world-famous architect Antoni Gaudí designed one of the few works he made outside Barcelona, the impressive palace called “Casa Botines”, an architectural masterpiece.
León is the best town in Spain for a tapas bar crawl. You will dive into this amazing town to discover the biggest concentration of bars in the country where you will enjoy creative and delicious tapas paired with Spanish wines from Rioja and Ribera del Duero world leading wine regions.
You will brush shoulders with the locals to find the best bites in town for a culinary adventure you will treasure forever.
You will rest like a king in a beautifully restored piece of history with all the comforts of the modern world, a 16th-century convent.
But before you retire to your room, you will enjoy a unique and highly personal dining experience: a Jamón Ibérico private tasting hand carved by knife in front of you by a Master Ham Carver.
You will learn how to distinguish all the different types of Hams in Spain and you will taste Jamon Ibérico directly from the knife of a qualified professional. Every paper-thin slice of this delicacy has a unique flavour you will have the chance to enjoy as they melt in your mouth.
Day 3
- A guided visit inside León's Cathedral, an architectural masterpiece
- A private visit to El Capricho Farm-house to learn how oxen are raised to produce the best meat in the world
- Sightseeing tour of Santiago de Compostela old town
After a reinvigorating sleep, a delicious breakfast full of local specialities will be waiting for you to recharge your batteries.
You will start the day with a morning stroll to a tranquil haven that waiting for you to be discovered. World-famous Leon’s gothic Cathedral, one of the greatest Cathedrals in Europe.
A masterpiece dated from the 13th century that will take your breath away. You’ll be transported back in time inside a magical place where you will be touched by the beauty of the sunlight crashing through one of the finest stained-glass windows in the world.
After a short drive you will visit an authentic temple for meat lovers, Bodega El Capricho, a family-run farm house and grill restaurant in a tiny village in the middle of nowhere and acclaimed by the international press like Time, the Guardian, Stern or New York Times to be the best place in the world to eat the perfect steak.
El Capricho’s owner José Gordón raises his own oxen from different Iberian native breeds in a piece of land where you can touch these enormous animals with up to seven feet tall, 1.400 kgs and up to 15 years old.
After a visit to the farm to admire the oxen you will immerse yourself into an unforgettable experience of intense flavours at the restaurant, placed in a cave used hundreds of years ago as a wine cellar.

The cherry on the cake to an unforgettable day will be a good night sleep in the world’s oldest hotel. Situated in Santiago de Compostela’s main square, this 15th-century hotel wraps you in opulent luxury.
You will indulge yourself into the hotel signature restaurant “Restaurante dos Reis” in a historic space housed in what was once the stables for the Royal Hospital, where you can sample traditional Galician cuisine.
Day 4
- An early morning visit to Santiago de Compostela's lively farmers' market to discover local delicacies
- A tour inside Santiago de Compostela's impressive Gothic Cathedral
After sumptuous breakfast with breath-taking views of Santiago de Compostela's Gothic Cathedral, you will experience an early morning culinary tour of the central farmers' market where colours and aromas combine to create an intoxicating gastronomic experience
There you will find only the most succulent fruit and vegetables, freshest seafood, Galician octopus and the world famous dry-aged Galician Blond Beef.
Your morning will continue with a tour inside Santiago's world famous Gothic Cathedral, and the culmination of the Camino de Santiago for hundreds of pilgrims who arrive every day to hug Apostle Santiago.
A transfer to the airport on time for your flight will be the saddest experience of your memorable stay in Spain.
